Purchase Artwork by Local Muralists and Bid on Collaborative Triptych at the Arts Huntsville Gallery at the VBC

 

Huntsville, AL – On Saturday, August 6th Arts Huntsville celebrated the opening of Walls to Walls: The Canvas Work of Huntsville Mural Artists gallery show and the unveiling of the Huntsville Mural Map. Walls to Walls features the works of local mural artists Robert Bean, R.F. Daniel, Jahni Moore, Logan Tanner, Christina Wegman and Andy Winn, whose thematically diverse murals can be found around the Huntsville metropolitan region.

At the opening, the featured artists collaborated live on three paintings, titled Underwater Moonlight 1, 2 and 3. The public can bid on the three paintings now through October 28, 2016, at the Arts Huntsville office in the Von Braun Center. All funds raised will support Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment’s efforts to build an outdoor classroom and artist workspace.

Arts Huntsville also unveiled the first-ever Huntsville Mural Map at the reception. Arts Huntsville commissioned local artist David Nuttall of Artimaps to create the map to lead local residents and visitors to view murals around the Huntsville metropolitan region.

The Walls to Walls gallery show’s works are now on display and for sale in the Arts Huntsville Gallery at the Von Braun Center from Monday, August 8th through October 28th, 2016.
