Enjoy art with a view at the 2021 Monte Sano Art Festival!

The Monte Sano Art Festival has been an exciting tradition for the North Alabama community for over two decades. Featuring over 120 of the best in local and regional artists representing an array of disciplines and techniques, the Monte Sano Art Festival is a treasure chest full of one-of-a-kind masterpieces.

Arts Huntsville is excited to bring the festival back to Monte Sano State Park:

Saturday, September 18th from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Sunday, September 19th from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Come out on Saturday or Sunday (or both days!) and shop over 120 incredibly talented artists, indulge in a variety of delicious culinary works made by local food truck vendors, and enjoy the sounds of local musicians performing throughout the festival!

While the festival is free to attend, Monte Sano State Park will charge $10 per car for parking or $5 per walk-in. Cash only.

Special thanks to our 2021 sponsors!

The History of Monte Sano Art Festival

The Monte Sano Art Show originated in 1999 when Debra Simpson, an artist residing in the Monte Sano Community, wished to establish a show in an outdoor setting. With a group of friends, Debra made plans for the first show which was held on October 30, 1999 in the parking lot of the Monte Sano Assessment and Enrichment Center at 820 Monte Sano Blvd.
