Rob Aldridge and the Proponents

While currently a resident of Florence, AL, Rob Aldridge grew up in Huntsville, and will always consider it home. His band the Proponents have released two LPs, and their latest album, Mind Over Manners received positive reviews internationally. They headlined the local stage at the first Shoals fest, and in 2021 did two shows supporting Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit. Their style combines thoughtful lyrics, challenging musical compositions, and fun high-energy rock performances.
