FAQs:

  • When will my performance dates be confirmed?
    • Initial Sandra Moon performance contracts will be issued after April 15, 2026. Performance dates requests may be submitted as of January 21, 2026.
  • When will technical specs be available?
    • Designed technical specs will be available in February. As-built technical specs will be available mid-summer 2026.

Theatre Rendering

The theatre is an ideal venue for community arts organizations of every arts discipline. The performance space will offer technical elements to meet the needs of large theatrical productions while also serving the delicate acoustical needs of choral and instrumental groups. From the booth to the stage and every seat in the house, the Sandra Moon Performing Arts Center’s theatre has been designed to help realize each artist’s vision.

Theater Lobby Rendering

The new expanded lobby will include a ticket booth, concession area, video monitors, and new restrooms.

Dressing Room Rendering

The Moon’s new dressing rooms and backstage hallways will provide artists with seamless, professional access to all backstage areas, featuring updated accommodations for costumes, crew, and performers.

Office & Rehearsal Space

At the start of 2024, Arts Huntsville assumed management of the renovated office and rehearsal facilities at the Sandra Moon Community Complex.
