Katie Hallahan Fine Art

Katie Hallahan is a 2D visual artist who primarily creates soft pastel paintings and oil paintings.  Her work spans a variety of subjects from still life, landscapes, plein air, portraiture, to “slice-of-life” scenes.   She believes in “slow living through art” and invites the viewer to linger upon the ordinary and be mindful of the everyday. 

Katie is a member of the Piedmont Pastel Society, juried member of the Pastel Society of America, and member of the American Impressionist Society.  She has won numerous awards for her work including 2025 Juror’s Choice Best in Show at the Something’s A Foot Exhibition in Huntsville, AL, 2024 Best Still Life in the Piedmont Pastel Society Member Show, 2023 Shirley Weissman Memorial Award from the Pastel Society of America, and multiple awards at varying plein air festivals in the Southeast.  She is represented by Flourish Fine Art Gallery and Studio in the Five Points neighborhood of Huntsville, AL.
