Huntsville’s Creative Spark Ignites at Panoply Arts Festival 2025

Downtown Huntsville’s Big Spring Park will transform into a vibrant hub of art, music, and innovation as the Panoply Arts Festival, presented by Mazda Toyota Manufacturing, returns April 25-27. This premier Southeast arts weekend promises a vibrant celebration of art, music, and community, showcasing Huntsville’s unique blend of creativity.

A Weekend of Artistic Exploration

Kicking off Friday, April 25 at 5:00 p.m., Panoply invites you to immerse yourself in a world of artistic expression. Browse the Art Marketplace presented by the College of Arts and Sciences at Athens State University, featuring over 100 talented visual artists. Indulge in culinary delights from a diverse array of artisan food trucks, and let the kids explore interactive STEAM activities and hands-on art projects.

Navigating the Festival

For seamless access, Panoply 2025 will feature three convenient entrances, presented by Huntsville Utilities, located on Church Street near the Downtown YMCA, the intersection of Williams Avenue and Church Street, and Monroe Street across from the VBC.

A Symphony of Sounds

Prepare for a musical journey with 20 of the best local and regional bands taking the stage. From soulful jazz and electrifying rock to smooth R&B and catchy pop, Panoply caters to every musical taste. Highlights include Billie Allen and the Pollies on Friday, local favorites Element XI on Saturday, and rock ‘n’ roll headliners Carver Commodore, the “official after-party” for the Comic Expo. New this year, DJs will keep the energy high between acts on Friday and Saturday. Sunday will feature a sneak peek of alternative rock band Red Flags, who are opening for the Avett Brothers in May. Arts Huntsville, in partnership with the HSV Music Office, will support the local music scene by hosting Panoply musicians at the festival’s Relaxation Station Green Room.

Imagination Takes Flight for Young Explorers

Panoply is a playground for young minds! STEAM Street, sponsored by Toyota AL, will feature interactive exhibits from Fantasy Playhouse Children’s Theatre, the National Space Club, Huntsville Ballet presented by KBR, Hexagon Hovercrafts, Missile Defense Agency (MDA), Wild Ones of North Alabama presented by TVA, and Huntsville City Schools Magnet Program presented by Intrepid. Creativity Corner, presented by Virginia and Parker Griffith, offers make-and-take art projects, while the Student Art Tent presented by Blue Cross Blue Shield of AL, and Face Painting presented by Pei Ling Charitable Trust, provide even more creative outlets.

Honoring Our Heroes

Friday night is Military Salute Night, presented by Leidos, a Panoply tradition honoring active-duty military personnel, Armed Forces reserves, and their dependents with a free evening of entertainment.

Feast on Festival Favorites

Satisfy your cravings with a diverse selection of festival fare, including BBQ, tamales, pizza, burgers, stir-fry noodles, and more.
