The Art Of Volunteering
Panoply is a truly unique community volunteer opportunity, because all festival activities are organized by volunteers. Two volunteer festival chairmen, with the assistance of Arts Council staff, supervise between 100 and 150 committee chairmen who plan, organize and recruit shift volunteers for their committees. Altogether over 1,500 people are recruited to volunteer at Panoply the last weekend in April each year.
Panoply 2012 Festival Co-Chairs Cathy Callaway and Jan Dorning are recruiting committee chairmen from the Huntsville/Madison County area. It’s your chance to give back to our community and you, along with your fellow volunteers, can serve as a committee chairman or a three-hour shift volunteer during the festival weekend.
SAVE THE DATE and make plans to volunteer for the 30th anniversary Panoply Arts Festival April 27-29, 2012!
Volunteer positions for the 2012 festival are now FULL. Please check back this summer to learn how to volunteer for the 2013 event!
