International Fiber Collective Tree Project at Panoply 2009International Fiber Collective Tree Project at Panoply 2009The Tennessee Valley is home to talented painters, sculptors, photographers, filmmakers and other artisans, and The Arts Council is committed to showcasing their work while developing a market for visual and creative arts in our community. The Arts Council is also working to incorporate public art throughout the community to increase the livability, walkability and desirability of our neighborhoods  and overall quality of life. From the Geode sculpture on the UAHuntsville campus to Bench Project benches around the city and a new community-wide sculpture tour, SPACES, launching in December 2010, The Arts Council encourages interested residents to join our efforts to expand public art in Huntsville/Madison County.
