2011 Arts Education Survey
2011 Arts Education Survey
The Arts Council is currently conducting an Arts Education Survey to assess the status of arts education in the schools of the districts of Madison County. In announcing an arts leadership grant program in May 2011, Boeing Vice President George Roman explained that, “As the arts flourish, so will creativity and innovation – the fuel that drives our global economy.” The Arts Council would like to work collaboratively with the schools to strengthen and expand arts education for all students. By making use of this survey, school leaders and The Arts Council can come together to reflect on current programs, evaluate current resources and how The Arts Council and its member organization can support your arts education offerings, and work with you to make solid plans for realizing a collective vision for the future of arts education. It is the goal of The Arts Council to create a partnership with the schools in the Madison County area to benefit the quality of education for every student.
This survey is being conducted by Art Survey Coordinator, Connie Lane and has been made possible in part thanks to grants from the Jane K Lowe Charitable Foundation and The National Endowment for the Arts.
