HSO Guild
The Huntsville Symphony Orchestra Guild was officially established in 1960. Its purpose is to foster, promote and increase the knowledge and appreciation of music to the residents of Madison County and the surrounding areas. The Guild's financial and volunteer support assists in the organization of classes, lectures, music appreciation events and performances of symphonic music in cooperation with the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra.
Now in the forty-eighth season of service to the Orchestra, the Guild has raised in excess of $4.25 million and has volunteered in excess of 671,000 hours of service.

- Prepare area fourth graders for the annual Young People's Concert
- Coordinate the Young Artists' Auditions
- Present the Panoply Musical Instruments Tent
- Support summer music camps through Ruth C. Weber Scholarships
Administrative Support
- Assist HSO Staff
- Maintain computer data for fund-raisers
- Assist with membership campaign
- Provide refreshments to Orchestra members during rehearsals

- Silver Tea, benefiting the Huntsville Youth Orchestra, since 1966
- Crescen-Dough Auction since 1973
