The Huntsville Concert Band performs year-round at public events throughout northern Alabama. Recent concerts include Concerts In The Park, the U.S. Space and Rocket Center's 30th Anniversary Celebration of the Apollo Moon Landing, and the All German Festival as part of Celebration 2000.

A typical performance may include Sousa marches, patriotic music, classical selections, show tunes, Broadway musicals, ragtime, novelties, jazz, Dixieland, swing, and sing-a-longs.
 
Community Concert Bands have existed in Huntsville, Alabama since the 1800s and the Huntsville Concert Band is proud to continue this time-honored tradition.

Founded in 1963, the charter of the HCB is to provide its members with a vehicle for musical expression and to present concert band entertainment in the Tennessee Valley. The Huntsville Concert Band is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization
