Greg and Jackie Merrell LOCAL ARTIST RETREAT: We are located 80 miles south of Nashville, TN, 100 miles north of Birmingham, AL and 20 miles north of Huntsville/Madison, AL. We are a very unique venue and this past weekend we had one of our local artist visited for breakfast and was so taken by our venue. She found out that we were for sale and that we had so much potential for an Art Retreat. She suggested that we contact local artist that might be interested in seeing for themselves what potential is here. We already do Agri-Tours for school children and are involved in Culinary programs. Due to health reasons there is a need to retire and sell the 42 acre venue. We have studio, gallery areas for rent and have an on-site potter, teaching and demoing at this time. Perhaps there might be an interest out there among local artist for just such a Retreat type venue. The possibilities are endless. Alabama Youth Ballet Summer Classes are continuing until July 26. Come by and take a class. Ages 3 through adult. The adult class for next week has been moved from Wednesday to Monday at 7:15.
