The Arts Council, Inc. of Huntsville, Alabama, established in October 1962, receives funding from the City of Huntsville, the Madison County Commission, the Jane K. Lowe Foundation, the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA, a Federal agency), and the Alabama State Council on the Arts (ASCA), as well as contributions and sponsorships from Tennessee Valley businesses, corporations, and individuals.

Call for Entries - art@TAC Gallery's TAC Members Open-Themed Show

 

Call for Entries:  art@TAC Gallery

 

 

The Arts Council, Inc. (TAC) will announce its next “Call for Entries” for its art@TAC Gallery, in early 2010.  Watch for updates!
 

All art must be suitable for viewing by all members of the public, including children (NO nudity or graphic content, please) and must either be framed (wood, composite, or metal frames) or otherwise capable of having hanging attachments affixed (gallery framing)—Attachment screws will be used with wood and composite frames.

  

Artist agrees to a 25% commission of the retail price of the art for TAC and that his/her name and art images may be utilized for promotional use.

 

Works and forms may be submitted digitally through e-mail (jpoff@panoply.org) or by CD (e-mail preferred); applicants should use the jpg file format.  CD’s may be hand-carried or mailed to The Arts Council offices at the VBC, 700 Monroe Street, SW; Huntsville, AL  35801-5579.

 

YOUR support is encouraged in helping TAC keep the visual arts in the public eye, ensuring that visitors view them as a vital component of our community!
