Executive Director
Allison Dillon-Jauken
| Allison joined The Arts Council, Inc. in June 2009 as Executive Director, where she oversees all programmatic, education, marketing and financial operations. From 1999 – 2009, Allison served as Managing Director of Nashville Children’s Theatre (NCT). During her tenure at NCT, she expanded the Theatre’s family programming and completed a $6.7 million capital campaign to expand and renovate the Children’s Theatre’s facility. Before joining Nashville Children’s Theatre, Dillon-Jauken was Associate Director of Development for The New 42nd Street – the New York City non-profit organization charged with the redevelopment of 42nd Street’s historic theatres. Her duties at The New 42nd Street included annual fundraising for The New Victory Theatre and the capital campaign for The New 42nd Street Studios. Allison has served on the boards of TYA/USA, Nashville’s Association of Non-Profit Executives, and Nashville’s CABLE, and she is an alumni of Leadership Nashville. Past affiliations include the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, the Arizona International Youth Arts Festival, and the Palo Alto Children’s Theatre. Allison received an MFA in Theatre for Youth from Arizona State University and a BA in Drama from Stanford University. |
Planning and Production Manager
Joanna Broad White
| Joanna is a Huntsville native and has served as Planning and Production Manager for The Arts Council since 2005, where she manages programming and logistics for TAC’s annual Panoply arts festival. Her interest in cultural event planning and management began in high school, and she started on that career path in 2003 at Theatrical Lighting Systems, Inc. as Rental Project Manager. In her time at TLS, she supervised the lighting gear rental and labor for several national and international events and concert tours. At the same time, she began volunteering regularly with local theatrical companies as a production assistant. During her five years at TAC, she has emerged as a community leader in event management, and she now manages a team of over 120 volunteers annually as part of Panoply. Joanna’s contribution to the arts in Huntsville extends to her volunteer work as President of the Wings Awards Association and Director of the Fantasy Players at Fantasy Playhouse Children’s Theater. She is also a member of the Rotaract Club of Huntsville and serves on the Board of Directors for Neighborhood Concepts, Inc. |
Arts Education and Community Outreach Manager
Vicky Hinton
| Vicky joined The Arts Council team full-time in winter 2010 after a nationwide search. Prior to joining the TAC staff, Vicky worked part-time with The Arts Council in 2009 after volunteering as co-chair for the 2009 Panoply Arts Festival. In addition to her volunteer work with TAC, Vicky served as president of the Huntsville Museum of Art’s Art Krewe in 2009-10 and Junior League of Huntsville Board Member. Vicky has also volunteered with the Huntsville Public Library Foundation and American Cancer Society, and in 2009 she was named one of Hands On Greater Huntsville’s Volunteers of the Year. Vicky work at TAC is informed by her extensive experience working with young people as a preschool art teacher, preschool classroom teacher and young ministry coordinator. Vicky now leads a team of community volunteers to coordinate Panoply’s Fifth Grade Days school programming, Kids Art Yard, Emerging Artists/Arts Educator Showcase, and Student Art Tent, as well as the Council’s year-round arts education programming and community outreach efforts. |
Member and Volunteer Services Manager
Gina Hurst
| Gina joined The Arts Council, Inc. in October 2011 as Member and Volunteer Services Manager, where she serves to provide resources and offer activities to members and volunteers. Gina has over 25 years of experience in art gallery management, sales and consulting. She also serves on several committees and boards. Her passion and goal is to be an effective promoter of the arts and to expand art awareness in our community. Gina is currently the volunteer Director of Ascribing Artists ministry. |

Business Manager
Teresa Miller
| Teresa joined The Arts Council in February 2008, bringing over twenty years of accounting and financial management experience to TAC’s operations. As Business Manager, she is responsible for The Arts Council’s day-to-day financial activities, and she oversees Panoply budgeting as well as financial management during the festival. Before serving as TAC’s Business Manager, Teresa held the position of Controller/Accounting Manager for The Girl Scouts of North Alabama, and her past work as a controller extends to a number of manufacturing corporations including Floral Design, Inc., Quadrum Telecommuni-cations, Inc., and Palco Telecom, Inc. Teresa earned a BS degree in Business Administration, majoring in Accounting, from the University of Alabama Huntsville. She has served on the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and as Treasurer of the Downtown Merchants Association in her hometown of Arab, Alabama. |
